fashionRIP is a multidiscipline, transmedia installation of chapters, an exploration of perceptions and beliefs. It’s a platform that explores ecosystems health, generative economics, social justice, cultural and creative diversity. Starting with recycouture garments, the story became the Project. It is now an evolving experiment, designed to explore meaningful relationship based constructs that put human potential and whole systems health over the abstract ideas of faux "the real world."

Don't Frack My Mother
I can feel John smiling, serious topic treated with humor to spread thru the cracks in the walls of denial.
Working on waterRIP the Flow video, so also love the synchro.
Humans are not the reason Earth exists!!
Fracking is deadly to ecosystems and we are bodies of water (our bodies 50-90 percent water- depending on source, age, hydration - suffice to say that what goes into water will hitch a ride into our personal biological spaces and mess up our disease fighting abilities.
This old Takers story (term borrowed from Ishmael by Daniel Quinn) will frack us all if we don't change the tune. thanks for singing out!!
Thanks Gasland for keeping the information flowing! Documentary is a must see.

A real life horror story is going on underground. The chemical toxins that are released in the air and water from the process known as fracking, are more dangerous than the nuclear issue because they have few restrictions. The government sold us out. This kind of insanity is hard to comprehend. Please see the documentary by Josh Fox called "Gasland." Look to the slide feature under the map, "What the Frack?" for a synopsis of the practice. The life of this planet may depend on it & we haven't much time left to get it right. *>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>* .............................................................................................................................................................. Then meet up with friends and neighbors and do something. Tack flyers on "phone" poles, petition Congress to view a documentary a week (your selection), stop buying/using natural gas appliances when possible. Seek solar and wind options, learn as much as possible in order to help yourself, which also helps others. When truth propels progress, we all win. Putting the energy we have as a collective intelligence matters to the Universe, just as much or more, than the great independent thoughts that play in our heads. Transcending practiced and or feigned ignorance is part of natural evolution. *..................................................................................................................................................................... The WaterRIP chapter of fashionRIP Project has found its story.
