In the previous post (Wall Street to Minotaur)  i erred on a crash.  The Flash Crash happened in 2010 (the tech logarithm aka  computer in charge- error crash) I misinterpreted search results after i couldn't find any articles on the housing crash that happened in Seattle a few years prior.. I am still confused as to why i came up blank on that search for the housing bubble crash- perhaps history rewrites take more time than expected. :-)  Saving face, justifying systems and propping up the status quo  must be a full time job!

A friend of mine -Cindy- who is connected to the public bank initiative, set me straight. (This group is great, taught me a lot about the economic truth and why what doesn't make sense continues to be delivered as "sensible.")

" About your minotaur to wall street.  I think that it has merit.  As you say, we often dismiss the past and myth goes back a long way.  We are distracted and are discouraged by our culture into looking at our deepest archetypes and our history.  Often history is white washed and changed to fit what the powers that be want us to think.  Because the real meaning and nitty gritty of history is censored, it is dull and boring.  I think your ties of the minotaur to Wall Street is good.  Heavens, we are sacrificing our children to the gods of Wall Street and the wealthy!  My one correction would be that the Housing bubble crash occurred in 2007 – 2008. I apologize for this mistake and will follow my hunches through more diligently from now on. As for the complementary review..i am not apologetic at all...i am joyfully appreciative!

I have been playing with a new mythic deconstruction, ever since I learned that the CIA was connected to Wall Street  shortly after it was created. The following is an organic history lesson, as the familiar linear timeline is pleasing, but leads to many false interpretations that become beliefs, that influence our choices. 

Might this be a clue to what i am calling our collective cultural dis-ease? Perhaps.

These days, billions of taxpayer dollars are disappearing into secret labyrinths.  Multiple secret service, intelligence agencies, NSA, CIA, Spy vs Spy, et al, have blossomed in recent years. They are so very secrtive that many governmentals do not, cannot, dare not go. Since Wall Street is known for its big, bronze, charging bull, this story started writing itself.
 
"For most of the 1920 and ’30s, Dulles worked with his brother at the Wall Street law firm of Sullivan & Cromwell. He often took extended foreign trips, and the letters he wrote home to Clover were full of references to other women that could at best be read as insensitive, at worst as taunting."

Clover was his wife.  This is for character reference.

"The Dulles brothers and James Forrestal helped form the Office of Policy Coordination. In 1953, Dulles became the first civilian CIA director.

The Agency's covert operations were an important part of the Eisenhower administration's new Cold War national security policy known as the "New Look". Under Dulles' direction, the CIA created MK-Ultra, a top secret mind control research project which was managed by Sidney Gottlieb. Dulles also personally oversaw Operation Mockingbird, a program which influenced foreign and domestic media companies."

Forrestal was another kind of special, his wife became an alcoholic with mental conditions. It is good to know the roots of power. I find beginnings useful, as they are foundations for the constructs we have today.

Just the kind of fellas you want working on mind control and espionage!

Now the Minotaur comes from another kind of story. In this Greek myth, Poseidon sends Minos, the King of Crete, a snow white bull to be sacrificed.  Poseidon is the ancient god of rivers, seas and horses. (So why the bull?) Anyway, Minos doesn’t kill the bull which angers Poseidon. To get even, Poseidon  arranges for Mino’s wife and the bull, to fall for each other. The Minotaur - a bull headed man -is their child. It gets better.

Anyway, this poor lonely Minotaur was forced to live in a labyrinth and every year or nine (story varies) seven Athenian youth were sacrificed, until the "hero" arrived and killed the "beastly problem."

Looks to me like Poseidon created a big problem and then just walked. The hapless children of this act of revenge were left to pay the price. This appears to be a case of an outrageous (immature) ego with a lack of responsibility. What kind of god is this?

Well the last big Bull Market was created by telling the public that to keep up with inflation; they should invest (throw some discretionary monies, aka "sacrificial" earnings) into Wall Street stocks, bonds, and the ubiquitous mutual funds. The media, financial advisers, business journals all chimed in to inform the public of this "fact." (Few realized that the one hand -the Federal Reserve-was very much connected to the private banking system that had a whole lot riding on the other hand-Wall Street.  If this sounds like incest..maybe it is)

All this energy pumped the market up to a big false high, that, like all highs, is not sustainable. It crashed (the Flash Crash of 2010) and left the public with a hell of a hangover.

I believe very few people realized that they were building the bomb that blew away their financial resources.  They didn't realize they were contributing to the mega corporate beast that would be forever hungry, always needing to grow, devour and expand its wealth making agendas. (This, because the bank system is like a game of musical chairs, some have to lose to make up for the interest that comes from "thin air or what is called "interest" aka money created by debt." This is where the "losers" come in.)  Growth is how corporations try to out run their fear of losing, amusingly called progress.)

With size comes power and with power more demands are made and met. This creates more lobbyists, more pushers of consumption and fear, more deregulation, more subsidies, more - you know, all the stuff bull-ies tend to do!

And when Wall Street crashed in 2010, like Poseidon, it too just basically shrugged and walked away.  As Wall Street is not a person but a system, like the gods, it has a terrific edge. The throw away line from many spokespersons was; "the public, the investors should have known better."

Sweet.

That the Bronze Bull on Wall Street might be a modern "grown up" Golden Calf is an amusing thought. It puts a grin on my face, irony just rocks.

PS: For the record, the term grown up is used loosely and does not imply maturity, wisdom or anything in kind. As i am all playing with evolutionary ideas and species maturity, pointing out possible memes that have translated across the ages, is a friendly nudge to wonder and question how the "real world" became "real." It's great for brain stimulation, plasticity, cell growth all that cool "new" stuff. Oh and i use " " because these words are like double edged swords that need careful handling, relativity my dear.

The Creative Field

Creative Individualism expands the whole of the Creative Field, in other words everyone’s gift matters. Now we have to find ways to appreciate and celebrate this abundance.

Everyone’s gift is an expression of life’s diversity and that is what stimulates evolutional flow. When only a few gifts are deemed valuable, the life energy of a people, group, nation or planet is channeled and or forced into a narrow pipe. Much is left out.

As the pipekeepers are steeped in the ideology of the system, they rarely stop to question its impact. Instead they are taught to believe that everything that flows out of the small pipe contains the best of human endeavor. It is stamped as progress and goes into the next even narrower pipe because we utilize what worked before and build on that information. That would not be so bad if the foundation was sound. That is not the case. Therefore the mainstream flow is gathering ever less from the creative field, by choosing from a shrinking perspective. 

Thus scarcity, fear and power are maintained, the creative environment is controlled to meet the values, standards and stories of the system. This idea hierarchy is a form of inbreeding and we already know how dangerous it is to biological , physically manifested “beings.  Most cultures got that one right.

But humans often fail to see patterns that cross the manmade, abstract and artificial borders. Therefore the pattern gets repeated throughout the systems we actualize.  Our groups, organizations, disciplines, parties, businesses, schools - all are marinated in “the way it is.” The artificial construct blocks our abilities to observe the whole of all that is possible. As we continue to select from the narrowing pipeline, choosing what works in the narrow vision we continue to narrow the vision.

The questioners, the rebels, outliers, the evolutionaries and the misunderstood, the genius of other,-all of this overflow, floods the plains, drains into swamps, evaporates or collects to form into new channels. So far many of the new flows are trying to compete with, challenge or crash the walls of the old paradigms. So far these revolutionary rivers have made a difference in the pipekeepers, but not in the idea of pipes. (Consider that flood plains create rich soils, swamps nurture species diversity, and evaporation is part of the water cycle – all good things! And all once not seen as valuable to the  mainstream)

That is an issue. 

How do we break free from false belief build up? How do we actualize from the more of possibility? How do we embrace the whole of life?  We cannot outrun fear or ignorance, both need to be faced.

Gaiad Theory is an attempt to address these issues and more, as it is not only possible, it is do-able and relevant. It is a way to visualize how healing and expanding our vision will transform the world. It is a leap from the hierarchical mainstream, a break out from the tiny pipe; it is a swim in abundance. It is an act of love.  It is the power of vulnerability.

Rebels Get It

That Horse of a Different Color

Rebels feel it. Rebels "know" they are having their lives stolen out from under them by a world that doesn't get "it." Though many who are fighting back, do not know what or who they are against, beyond grand swaths like "the establishment," they know enough to take a stand. They know being human is more than this shabby excuse of a system's game that we are so vigorously taught to protect and enable.

Rebels see beyond the frame and are here to crack the stupor of status quo. They become the heroes we will later tell stories about; after the face saving, justifications and rewrites are ready to roll.

This is not cool, so why continue it? (I can supply some reasons: the Yale Club secret societies where getting one over on others serves as a blackmail loyalty device, other forms of bro loyalty that come  from warfare ethos, the good people syndrome -we are good people so we must be doing the "right thing." from The Leaderless Revolution.- feel free to add more!)

Most people do not realize they are being force fed these mere ideas. The abstract world of logos became ever more "meaningful and real"  the longer humans nurtured the concept. However words are an abstraction of "life" (from The Spell of the Sensuous)  in and of themselves.  Reasoning is but one form of intelligent pursuit and therefore all our castles are built of air and arrogance. This is ok. This got us to here and look at what we have learned. Now we need to let go of the stuff that is working against our new sum knowledge, and see where we can go next!

I have great faith that we are capable and able to do this great leap of paradigm!

I know that utilizing this vast sum of knowledge gets a bit difficult as we have been trained to become "big fish in small pools" or rather heads of departments, experts, and other terms for a mini kingdom turfing that looks a lot like systems in the animal world of which we so think we are "above." Thus the convenience of hierarchy! Thus also the the problem! When you believe  you are "on top,"  you fear losing that "place." When threatened it is time to call out the troops, dig in one's heels, fight to the death-ergo Armageddon - a prophecy where we all fall down.

Round and Round. Unless we learn and move toward a better destiny.

All the new toys, tools and colors, new styles and formats all signify progress, or so we are told. This takes our minds off the "not progress" that is eating everything in its path. This idea of turning people into machines and machines into people is all so backwards, so archaic and yet the pursuit continues, Why?

So the winners who take all can prevail as the living dead they have already become? (half dead as in not awake to fully be a human being, as in duped by the beliefs of the system doing the dupe) Round and Round.

When health, relationships, trust, natural, grounding ecosystems that support life, diversity and possibilities are being harmed in the pursuit of this so called progress we have got to question the whole set up! All the myths, stories, the "facts" we are taught, the data that is not used, the dreams and the choices we ignore...it is time for a great unveiling.

Rebels say what's the purpose? Rebels say "enough." Rebels get educated and tell new stories, light the next path and pioneer the new beliefs. Love your rebels, they shake out the new possibilities.
